 Book vs Movie

Introduction

The movie and book have their differences and their similarities. This movie is you have to watch the movie then read the book for it not to be a big bummer. They have to change some of the scenes for time and for it to be appropriate for kids.

Similarities 

The movie and book both have Rowdy, Daisy, and Jay berry in it. There was a circus train crash. They had the monkeys being drunk. The Old man in the mountains. They had the pretty girl. They had grandpa and mama and papa. They had daisy's leg being crippled. The trapping scene. Jay was the same age.

differences

The movie and the book also have differences. Some of the differences were that Rowdy wasn't a blue tick hound in the movie. They didn't talk about Bayliss Hatcher in the book. There were only four monkeys in the movie and in the book there were twenty-nine. They called the big monkey Henri instead of Jimbo. They said that The old man in the mountains was God. The circus was named Cirque De France instead of being the Johnson Brother Circus. Disney messed up big time

My opinion
The movie was worst than the book because they left out so much. The main idea in the movie was completely different from the book. There were more characters from the movie like Bayliss Hatcher. Bayliss Hatcher was not in the book. The father's name was Bob in the book and not in the movie.

conclusion

There are a few things that are frustrating with the movie that is not in the book.There are a lot of differences between the movie and the book but they both had something to do with summer of the monkeys.
